Bistro Group brings  Olive Garden to PH

Olive Garden is one of the eight brands of Darden Restaurants Inc., and the largest casual dining brand in the United States in terms of revenue ($4.5 billion).

Headquartered in Orlando, Florida, the company operates more than 850 locations in the United States and Canada, with franchised restaurants in Brazil, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Panama and US territories Guam and Puerto Rico.

Smith was in the country recently to sign the franchising contract with The Bistro Group’s chair, William Stelton, and president and COO, Jean Paul Manuud.

Handmade organic herbal soap making seminar set

The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one-day seminar on how to make herbal soap.

This will be held at Golden Treasure Skills Training Center at 9 Anonas Road, Project 3, Quezon City on Nov. 27,
Wednesday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Participants will learn how to make different kinds of herbal soap derived from such ingredients as coconut, green papaya, oatmeal, kalamansi and milk.
