PH prefab firm makes move into North Europe market

Revolution Precrafted, a homegrown designer and supplier of prefabricated structures worldwide, is eyeing the Northern European market.

In a statement, Revolution Precrafted said it signed a cooperation agreement with Scandinavian real estate company Alvardag. The pilot project will be a medium-rise development in Helsinki, Finland.

“The deal will then open up more projects in the Northern European markets of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Russia as well as other Central and Northern European markets,” Revolution Precrafted said.

Alvardag is said to have expertise in design and project management, especially in wooden modular construction. Alvardag’s project pipeline in Finland consists of over 250,000 square meters and 800 million euros “worth of diverse spaces in development.”

The deal marks another step in Revolution Precrafted’s global expansion.

The company said it won over the past six months about $8.7 billion worth of  projects, including the $3.2-billion partnership with Seven Tide for “The World Islands” in Dubai and the $1.2-billion Okkyin project in Myanmar with KT Group.

It also signed a $300-million dealership agreement with Novo Development Ltd. to build at least 1,000 homes in the Caribbean nations of Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Lucia and the Bahamas. It also landed a deal to build 85 luxury resort villas in Okinawa, Japan and 2,000 homes in Puerto Rico with Grupo Cacho. It also recently announced a franchise agreement to supply mid-income homes in El Salvador, Ecuador and a 500-unit project in Bahrain. In July, it announced plans to build a $460-million eco-resort in Brazil.

It signed similar deals in Barcelona, Navarra and Castellon in Spain and a separate agreement to build luxury homes in San Bernardino, California, and resort villas in Australia.

It has also partnered with several firms for projects in the Philippines.
