All they want for Christmas…
It is better to give than to receive, so says the oft-repeated phrase.
But there is always that one thing that a person yearns to get from close friends and loved ones, especially during Christmas.
Here, we asked some of the country’s top business leaders their Christmas wish that money can grant.

Article continues after this advertisementI’ve been really blessed with a great family, lots of love, and a work that I really like. So if there’s anything else I’d like to have, it may be something related to music. Since percussion is one of the instruments I like and I occasionally play the drums, I’d want to learn to play the “Spanish Cajon.” Or maybe a Karaoke machine. I like having people around, and in the Philippines, singing is one great way to get people together.

I want to get a copy of the new book of Arianna Huffington, “The Sleep Revolution”, because it’s all about ZZZZ, my initial (haha). But kidding aside, it’s because she said that sleep-deprived people tend to be impulsive, paranoid and unable to process info. She gave as example the most famous person these days (you know who), who claims to sleep only 3 to 4 hours a day and spends time tweeting before falling asleep. The first chapter of the book is called “The Wake Up Call”, so that one is a wake up call for me. I need to sleep more before I turn into a person I don’t want to be.

I want three things: A mega photobook that will catalog all our photos taken together from childhood until now; fitness and wellness guru on demand and an electronic guide that will provide me my daily dose of God’s words.
On the mega photobook, I am a sentimental fool and I love to cherish treasured memories so the photobook allows me to reminisce all the good times we have shared. On the fitness and wellness guru, with my daily life of always on the go, I need someone to provide me the daily discipline of good diet and exercise to prevent shoulder stiffness, back pain, migraines, etc. The fitness and wellness guru will do everything for me—well balanced diet and daily exercise regimen.
On daily dose of God’s words—I am on a quest of getting to know Him more and this electronic guide will allow me to do it anytime, anywhere. Whenever I feel that I need Him, I just need to plug on my earphones and voila, I am comforted, guided and enlightened.
I guess with these gifts, you will observe that my Christmas wish is really love, peace, joy and hope. All of the gifts chosen will hopefully help me in achieving these.

What I want for Christmas is a Moleskine notebook and a variety of multicolored erasable ball pens. I love writing down things, specially things I need to prioritize, minutes of meetings and ideas that comes during those precious “aha” moments. Writing notes give me the security of organizing my thoughts and wise use of both my professional and personal time.

A PlayStation 4 Pro. I’ve always been a gamer and it’s the hottest console platform in town. Ever since Sony released this new PlayStation, reviews have been very strong so I’ve always wanted one. Now if only I could find the time to play with it!
