PAL mounts 3 special flights to Canada
MANILA, Philippines — Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) on Tuesday mounted three special flights for Canadians stranded in the country due to travel restrictions.
Flight PR-118 took off for Toronto from Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 around 3:40 p.m.
Flights PR-5118 and PR-116 were set to depart for Vancouver and Toronto at 6 p.m. and 7:20 p.m., respectively, on Tuesday.
Present during the departure were Canadian ambassador-designate Peter MacArthur, Canadian Embassy political officer Warren Mucci and PAL president Gilbert Santa Maria.
The Canadian Embassy in Manila arranged the special fights.
