MANILA, Philippines?Roast chicken meals served within 3-5 minutes.
This was new foodchain Yummy Roast's promise when it opened its flagship store Tuesday at Eastwood Citywalk 2 in Libis, Quezon City.
Aiming to satisfy the Filipinos' craving for roast chicken without having to make them wait, Yum Roast International, Inc. (YRII) president Richmond Yang sought partnership with Singapore-based The Asian Kitchen Foods Company Pte Ltd. CEO Cary Gee.
Yang and Gee's team enabled the foodchain to marry traditional ways of cooking Asian food with new technologies in food preparation.
Yummy Roast, according to Gee, uses state of the art equipment in whipping up Asian cuisine, enabling them to deliver "better food, fast."
"We really know Asian food and we want the Filipinos to get to know it too. We always keep the traditions in mind but at the same time introduce innovation," said Gee.
Yang said that they "take pride in Yummy Roast's dishes which are seriously delicious and quick-served without losing the spirit of the traditional recipes."
Aside from offering the Yummy Chicken, Yummy Pork Belly and Yummy Pork Asado, the foodchain was particularly excited to introduce what was called the Yummy Rice which was infused with Chicken Essence and a variation of herbs and spices. Yang stressed that the Yummy Rice packed in so much flavor, it can be enjoyed on its own.
Yang added that Yummy Roast meals are as affordable as they are appetizing as the Yummy Chicken, Yummy Pork Asado and Yummy Pork Belly are sold at 98 pesos each. An additional 20 pesos will also get diners unlimited servings of Fragrant Rice or Yummy Rice, said Yang.
According to Gee, they will add to the range of dishes that they serve in the foodchain as well as open other outlets in the country soon. Yang said that they intended to set up shop at SM Sta. Rosa, SM Bicutan, Vito Cruz and SM Manila within the year. He added that they are planning to arrange a delivery service as well.
