Petron, Shell slashes LPG prices

MANILA, Philippines ? (UPDATE) Pilipinas Shell and Petron Corp. will cut down the price of liquefied petroleum gas effective Tuesday morning, the oil firms announced on Monday.

LPG prices will be reduced by P1.50 per kilogram effective 12:01 a.m. for Shell, said Shell vice president for communications Roberto Kanapi. Petron, meanwhile, will implement the same price adjustment at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
