MANILA, Philippines ? Pilipinas Shell also slashed the prices of diesel, gasoline and kerosene Tuesday morning, following the moves of other oil companies.
At 12:01 a.m., Shell reduced the prices by P0.50 per liter, said vice president for communications Roberto Kanapi.
Petron Corp. earlier announced another round of oil price rollback effective Tuesday morning.
In a media advisory, the oil firm said it will cut the prices of diesel, gasoline and kerosene by P0.50 per liter effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The rollback brings to P2.75 per liter the total amount decreased for premium gasoline and a total of P2.50 per liter reduced for diesel, kerosene and gasoline over a nine-day period.
