With droves of onlookers cheering them on, the 22 teams of 3 gamely tackled 15 exciting challenges over 4 action packed hours. Each team had to complete the task and get a stamp in a race ?passport? before moving on to the next. The first team to finish all the tasks first with most points garnered emerged victorious to claim great prizes from our sponsors.

From human slingshots to walking on water and other creative challenges, our teams navigated the course to see who would leave the competition in the dust and come out on top. One of the key attractions of the day was the AXN Platform Jump, where contestants braved the impressive height of a scaffold at 25 feet to leap off while harnessed to try to touch a target. Despite the precarious nature of the challenge, it was also a huge hit with the public after it was opened up for the crowd to try.

The AXN B!G Challenge was sponsored by Vitwater, Merrell, KFC and Nivea for Men. Besides providing great prizes for the winning teams, the sponsors kept the crowd pumped with fun stage games so they could get a taste of the competitive spirit.

To get the crowd even more into the swing of things, there were plenty of great activities and entertainment by popular local bands like Moonstar 88, Callalily, and Roots of Nature. With amazing live music and an electric atmosphere, the crowd was kept jiving to the beat in an afternoon of sheer entertainment.

After a day of intense competition, the field of 22 teams was whittled down to the top 3. Trouncing the competition to emerge champions, the team comprising Tanya Reyes, Efren Villaflor Jr_and Jenny Villaflor came in first place and took home a well-deserved Php30,000 in cash and a Victorinox watch for each team member. The first runner-up team Jamie Llynd Tan, Ira Dy and Jethro Lloyd Tan walked away with a cool Php20,000 in cash and an Apple Ipod for each team member, while the second runner-up team Chad Venadas, Rosanna Barrios and Juan Antonio Chan won Php10,000 in cash and Sony PSP.

After an afternoon of fun, intense competition, and non stop entertainment, the inaugural AXN B!G Challenge was a huge hit with the crowd. With great sponsors and an action packed event done in true AXN style, the AXN B!G Challenge sets the bar high for all mall races of the future.
