AirAsia to add regional flights
Budget carrier AirAsia Inc. is adding regional flights from Clark International Airport to key destinations ahead of the peak holiday season.
In a statement, the company said it would start flying daily from Clark to Taipei and Singapore. It will also add three extra flights a week to Hong Kong, on top of daily service.
The additional flights will start on December 15.
“With the holidays approaching, Philippines’ AirAsia is excited and delighted to announce these awesome changes and holiday promo surprises for our guests,” AirAsia commercial group head Fred Herrera said in a statement.
“We are adding Singapore and Taipei to our red hot regional destinations, with daily flights commencing Dec. 15 and 16 respectively. We are also adding an extra three times a week evening flights to Hong Kong on top of our daily morning flights.”
AirAsia will be the only carrier operating daily scheduled services on Clark International Airport to Taipei.

Article continues after this advertisementTo celebrate these new routes, AirAsia is offering an all-in, one way promo fare from as low as P888 for Clark-Taipei and P1,699 for Clark-Singapore.
All promo fares are available for booking on AirAsia’s website www.airasia.com from Nov. 12 to 25. Travel period is from December 15 to Sept. 30, 2013.
“Staying true to its commitment to transparency, efficiency, high value service and affordable fares, AirAsia has included base fare, fuel surcharge, processing fee and aviation security fee (government mandated fee) in all its promo fares,” AirAsia said.
AirAsia is the Philippine unit of Malaysia’s budget carrier AirAsia Berhad.
