Property giant SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime) is opening a new shopping mall in Imus, marking its sixth retail hub in the province of Cavite.

SM Center Imus, which is set to open this Friday (Feb. 16.) will add 13,000 square meters (sqm) in gross floor area (GFA) to the group’s portfolio.

“The opening of SM Center Imus marks another milestone for SM Prime. This mall is located right at the heart of Imus City to provide more convenience to the residents as well as guests of this historic city,” SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim said in a press statement on Wednesday.
 
SM Center Imus will open with 90 percent of space lease-awarded to retailers.

Among the unique features is the indoor Town Plaza, cited as a perfect venue for concert and sporting events. The mall will also have 24/7 tenants such as full-service clinic, pharmacy and wellness spa that are open to serve mall-goers any time of the day, seven days a week.

Another notable feature is the Small-Medium Enterprises Popular Local Concept, where top favorite local brands will be made available.

The new mall opens with anchor brands SM Supermarket, SM Appliance Center, ACE Hardware, Miniso, Watsons and BDO.
 
SM Center Imus – located along N.I.A Road, Barangay Bukandala – will add to
five other SM malls in the province, namely: SM City Bacoor, SM City Dasmariñas, SM City Molino, SM City Rosario and SM City Trece Martires.
