FILA Philippines CEO Cris Albert passes away

MANILA, Philippines — FILA Philippines president and chief executive officer Cris Albert has passed away in Singapore on Saturday, the company announced on Monday.

“It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing on Saturday, 23 April 2022, of Fila Philippines CEO and Owner, Ms. Cris Albert,” the company said in a Facebook post.

“Her family appeals to everyone to respect their privacy as they grieve in this time of immense loss. Details of her wake will be shared soon,” it added.

The same message was also shared by Albert’s sister, actress Ana Abad Santos.

According to FILA Philippines’ website, Albert graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing joined FILA as the marketing manager in 1992 before becoming the company’s president in 2007.

“She has been managing Fila Isport, Inc. and Athletes Gym & Dive for over 15 years,” the company said.
