For being one of the best workplaces to grow one’s career, Smart was the only telco to make it to the Final 15 of LinkedIn’s Top Philippine Companies of 2021. Ranking 2nd, the professional networking site’s study analyzed data in key pillars: ability to advance, skills growth, company stability, external opportunity, company affinity, gender diversity and educational background.

PLDT Enterprise’s efforts to help businesses rediscover and reinvent amid the COVID-19 crisis earned the B2B arm its first Golden World Award from London-based International Public Relations Association. This was for its MVP Bossing campaign, with efforts aimed at paying tribute to the Filipino entrepreneurial spirit.

Several members of the PLDT Group Management Committee were also recognized locally and globally. PLDT’s Anabelle Lim Chua was named the 2021 ING-Finex CFO of the Year in the 15th edition of the longest-running and most prestigious award program for Chief Finance Officers, having been pivotal in sealing several landmark deals for PLDT.

PLDT’s Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Angel T. Redoble won back-to-back in 2021: The Visionary CISO Award from New York-based CISO Connect’s Top 100 CISOs Recognition, and the Leadership Award at the inaugural CSO ASEAN Awards alongside Top 30 cybersecurity executives from the region.

Smart closed 2021 with the Asia Communication Awards Social Contribution top plum for its FarmSmart agriculture advocacy. The initiative covers the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) and BuyLocal, which aim to help create future-ready and prosperous Filipino farmers through technology, innovation, and collaboration.
