Fruitas supports COVID-19 frontliners
Leading kiosk operator Fruitas Holdings has supported the country’s frontliners in the war against the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic using food and beverage products in its portfolio.
Fruitas has delivered over 100,000 fresh products to frontliners as part of its commitment to donate 1,000 bottles of fresh fruit juice everyday to healthcare workers, local governments and other frontliners during the enhanced community quarantine.
The program supported 52 hospitals, eight city halls, nine barangays, and more than 20 other civic groups, Fruitas said in a press statement.
Donated products included coconut juice, other fresh fruit juices, as well as fresh milk from Bukidnon Milk Co., which was meant to boost the immunity of frontliners.
Negril Trading Inc., a Fruitas subsidiary carrying De Original Jamaican Pattie, also provided close to 10,000 Jamaican Patties to frontliners.
