Suntrust Properties injected global design aesthetic into its projects, a feature aptly noticed by overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

The innovative spirit of Suntrust Properties Inc. (SPI) is now recognized on the global stage.

The leading real estate developer received the Most Innovative Real Estate Developer citation for 2019 at the International Finance Real Estate Awards held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Jan. 31.

“We are honored to be chosen as this year’s most innovative residential developer,” said Harrison M. Paltongan, president and chief executive officer of Suntrust Properties.

The awards recognized the top real estate players among emerging markets, where the growing populations and bullish economies have facilitated a real estate boom.

Value for money

Specifically, citations are given to companies that focus on raising the value of their residential and commercial developments through customer satisfaction and relentless engagement. The criteria included facilities provided, innovation, styling, quality of construction, sustainability, growth, profitability, global competitiveness and social responsibility.

“Our residential and industrial communities uplift the lifestyle of our residents and enhance the value of their investments,” Paltongan said.

Indeed, Suntrust Properties did not become a top-of-mind choice for homebuyers overnight. It had to consistently exceed the expectations of potential and existing buyers looking for homes in subdivisions and condominium buildings.

To do so, it adapted to customer needs while sticking to its passion for high quality but affordable addresses in masterplanned and self-contained townships. The customer experience has never taken a backseat—highly-motivated and professional Suntrustees have provided excellent sales and after-sales services. All these have defined the touted Suntrust Brand Experience.

A history of innovation

Suntrust Properties began adhering to this unique brand experience since its inception in late 1997, through its first self-sustaining residential communities in Cavite. The company then ventured into vertical projects, which equipped it to deliver space-saving, functional and bespoke homes.

Location has been a vital consideration for Suntrust Properties. For example, Suntrust Asmara (which was named after the Indonesian word for love) is an Asian-themed development located along the highly accessible E. Rodriguez Avenue. Suntrust Solana, which is near Manila City Hall, will afford residents resort-style, future-proof living in the urban jungle.

Suntrust Properties injected global design aesthetic into its projects, a feature noticed by overseas Filipino workers.

At the boundaries of Silang in Cavite and Santa Rosa in Laguna, the company offers an enclave called Suntrust Verona, eponymous with the Italian city that evokes beauty and romans. Two replicas of Singapore’s iconic Merlion statue guard the Suntrust Sentosa in Calamba, Laguna—a community that champions the modern Asia. Suntrust Sienna Hills in Lipa, Batangas is another Italian-themed project, while Suntrust Capitol Plaza in Quezon City is inspired by the roaring ’20s.

Luxury does not necessarily come with a steep price for Suntrust Properties. It has delivered elevated living at unbelievably low price points. Take Suntrust Shanata, which boasts of features normally associated with upscale projects—pools, a clubhouse, a gym, function rooms, and lush landscaping. The neo-Romanesque Suntrust Capitol Plaza in Quezon City is perfect for those who want to appreciate the cityscape while nestled in a luxe sanctuary.

Social conscience

Developments also have a social conscience. Aside from being eco-friendly and world-class, Suntrust Ecotown Tanza—an industrial park with residential, commercial, entertainment, industrial and office spaces—is also appreciated for being one of Cavite’s biggest income and job generators.

“All our strategically-located developments provide thematic and functional amenities to complement our well-thought-out homes and condominium towers,” Paltongan explained. “Our industrial community has recreational facilities for employees and supports green initiatives in the areas of mass transportation, waste management and water conservation/treatment.”

Suntrust Properties has committed to provide spaces that get their investors to celebrate their milestones, appreciate the good life and get inspired to aspire for more. In its 22 years, Suntrust Properties has built more than 7,000 subdivision houses and more than 5,000 condominium units, all of which showcase the expertise and creativity powering it.

Inspired thus by this newest citation in its gallery, Suntrust Properties will continue taking up the dreams of millions of hardworking Filipinos, according to Paltongan.

“On our third decade and beyond, we commit to expand our reach across the Philippine archipelago, in line with our goal: a home for every Filipino,” Paltongan concluded.
