Celebrating the Philippines’ bests in real estate

/ 03:50 AM October 12, 2019

Winning an award speaks volumes. It can be a testament to the hard work of the people involved in the project, and can serve as the crowning glory of a development. It can likewise determine key players in the real estate industry or those who go above and beyond in responding to the changing needs of property seekers.

Lamudi’s The Outlook: Philippines’ Buyers Choice Awards, co-presented by Philippine Daily Inquirer Property and Holcim, is a chance to felicitate the shortlisted developments through a selection process that ensures transparency and leaves no room for bias.

Nomination process

Lamudi opened the nominations in January to all developers in the Philippines. This allowed enough time for nominees to pour in until May. All Philippine property developers had the opportunity to nominate their developments that best fit the Outlook Awards categories.

FEATURED STORIES

We have set up an Outlook Awards website where developers filled out a form to nominate their projects. After the form has been officially submitted, Lamudi allowed submissions to be edited until May 31 by contacting us directly. There is no nomination fee to submit the name of a project.

There is no limit to the number of nominations that developers can submit in the award categories. There is, however, an exclusion criterion, which states that previous winners of The Outlook Awards cannot be nominated again. We added this in the rules to guarantee the variety of winners over time.

Lamudi will be giving away a total of 19 awards during the gala night slated in November.

The winners will then be determined from the shortlisted entries after conducting a 10,000-respondent survey involving active property seekers on the Lamudi platform. For the special awards, those who received the highest score from the judges will be announced as winners.

All the projects that did not pass the shortlisting process or win an award in 2019 can be nominated again next year, provided they fall within the award categories of The Outlook Awards for 2020.

We will be announcing the winners at The Outlook Awards gala on November 14 at the Makati Shangri-La.
