Setting new standards for modern Filipino lifestyle

/ 11:37 PM October 12, 2012

The relentless pursuit for an abode that would match the evolving lifestyles of the modern-day Filipino made local property developers scrambling to keep up with such demands.

Thus, it was no mere show of force when two of the country’s most esteemed and respected property developers—Robinsons Land Corp. and Federal Land Inc. of the Metrobank Group—have agreed to jointly put up a residential enclave that will not only cater to these demands, but will soon break barriers and set cutting-edge standards in Filipino condo living.

A residential project under RLC’s Communities Brand, the Axis Residences is a two-tower, 42-story modern-contemporary-designed development, set to rise across 21,000 square meters of prime land in Mandaluyong City.

Architect Meloy Casas of Casas+Architects, the principal architect for Axis Residences, noted that this upcoming residential haven will provide future unit owners the fundamental and essential factors such as aesthetics, functionality and affordability. This only means that it is possible to have more with so much less.

FEATURED STORIES

Casas pointed out that Axis Residences can easily be considered as anyone’s top choice for a number of reasons:

1Its strategic location. Although located at the quiet side of Mandaluyong, Axis Residences provides the unparalleled edge of being at the center of all the important residential, business, shopping, leisure, educational and entertainment hubs.

2Easy accessibility to all modes of transportation. Future residents can enjoy Axis Residences’ proximity to key areas like Makati, Manila and Quezon City and major thoroughfares such as Edsa and C5. It is likewise highly accessible via different modes of public transportation including MRT, thus allowing residents the ease and comfort of traveling.

Worthy to be noted as well is the fact that Axis Residences is being built within the Robinsons Cybergate Complex, currently one of the biggest BPO complex in the metro and is home to some of the most prominent names in the industry such as Accenture, Teletech, Prople and Emerson. Nearby is a shopping mall, Robinsons Forum and a budget-friendly hotel, the goHotels.

3Strategic orientation providing different vistas. The orientation of the towers will provide exceptional views of different cityscapes with the Pasig River at the South, Fort Bonificio in Taguig and Makati at the North, and Edsa at the West.

4 Incomparable design and features. According to Casas, the design of Axis Residences, while simple and straightforward, takes every opportunity to enhance the building’s organizational, human and environmental performance, thus providing that perfect balance between work and play.

5Top security. The reception counter at the entrance lobby informs the unit owners of their guests. There is also CCTV monitoring in selected areas.

“Optimal use of the landscape for both views and recreation, proper orientation to achieve maximum natural light and cross-ventilation and incorporating high-end amenities are among the primary considerations for the project which can create a luxurious experience for its users,” Casas explained.

Meet needs and wants

He said the Axis Residences was consciously designed specifically to meet the needs and wants of the typical Filipino, set up whether for the young professional, a starting family, or a balikbayan.

Casas explained: “Knowing the typical needs of its clientele, Axis Residences guides its homeowners in the uplift of their standard of living by offering a wide array of high-quality services and provide exclusivity, privacy and security combined with the vibrancy brought to the area. There are few units located in every floor which allows more privacy and quality time spent with family and friends. Each of the units was carefully designed to ensure maximum efficiency and functionality.”

Each tower has 42 floors with deluxe (24 sq m) and executive (50 sq m) unit types, priced anywhere between P1.9 million and P4 million per unit. Tower 1, which is scheduled for turnover in July 2015, has a total of 916 units with 379 parking slots up for sale, while Tower 2 will have 916 units as well.

Future owners are further assured of comfortable and generous living spaces as each floor will also house only 25 units and will have a hallway width of 1.5 meters.

Many perks of condo living

Given an exceptionally well-planned, mixed-use residential complex, future residents can enjoy the many perks of condo living, with myriad of amenities and building features which all make for an ideal city living.

Amenities and services include automatic smoke detectors and fire alarm with sprinkler system, four passenger elevators per tower, elevated water tank and underground cistern, standby power generator, central garbage area, function rooms, retail units, adult lap pool, kid’s pool, fitness center, children’s playground, basketball/multipurpose court, pavilion, landscape garden, game room and drying cages.

Of course, what further makes Axis Residences a truly smart investment is that it does not only provide investors a top quality “home,” but it can also be used to potentially generate another source of income via rentals. It should be noted that the project, which is set to rise within the Robinsons Cybergate Complex, makes it an ideal nook for the thousands of professionals and call center agents working within the vicinity and neighboring areas.

And since the project is backed by property giants RLC and Federal Land, owners can be well assured that their units will be well-maintained and well-managed, thus ensuring value appreciation of the whole property over time.
