ATR KimEng brings investment guru to Manila

ATR KimEng Asset Management, one of the leading investment management groups in the Philippines, is bringing Templeton emerging markets fund manager Mark Mobius to Manila for a forum on July 25 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Pasay City.

The session, dubbed “An Evening with Dr. Mark Mobius: Emerging Markets Vision 2020,” will feature a talk by Mobius followed by a short panel discussion with some of the Philippines’ eminent figures in the micro-, macroeconomic and corporate sectors to discuss how developments in the region and across the globe will affect the country’s economic and private sector performance.

The speaker is a well-known fund management guru and a pioneer in emerging markets investments. He is the executive chair of the Templeton Emerging Markets Group and the lead manager of its $17.3-billion Asian Growth Fund.

Mobius believes both commodities and consumers will drive the Asian emerging markets growth story in the next decade.
