Picture this: You’re walking along Dela Rosa, Makati, on your way to work, school, or the mall—when suddenly, you spot cracks in the walls. Based on your previous commutes, you know those cracks weren’t there before, and if you happen to be there at night? The cracks even appear to be golden and glowing.

Should you be worried? Curious? Amazed? Should you try to remember movies or TV shows where mysterious cracks like these have shown up in the metro?

The thing is, you don’t even have to imagine this scenario at all, because people have actually recently spotted various cracks along Dela Rosa, Makati that reportedly glow golden at night. Many wonder what they could be, and speculations are already abuzz both on the streets and online.

Movie aficionados may think that something, ranging from a creepy secret to creatures like dinosaurs or aliens, will emerge from the cracks, just like in sci-fi or fantasy films. The golden glow from the cracks even leads to the wild guess that a portal to another dimension might appear in the city soon.

But on a less fantasy-like note, perhaps the cracks are simply signs of damage, and ongoing repairs are happening—or about to happen—in the area.

While waiting for an announcement (or someone’s grand discovery) of what the golden cracks really are, you may see them yourself—if you dare—around Dela Rosa, Makati. Make sure to share with us your guesses, or stay tuned for more information!
