PH vehicle sales revved up by 7.6% in March

Local vehicle sales increased by almost 8 percent in March, thanks to the strong demand for commercial vehicles.
MANILA, Philippines – Vehicle sales in the country rose by almost 8 percent in March, marking the third consecutive month of growth this year, driven largely by strong demand in the commercial vehicle segment.
A joint report by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and the Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) released late Monday afternoon showed local sales reached 40,306 units during the month.
The March figure reflected a 7.6-percent increase from the 37,474 units sold in the same month last year, and a 2.9-percent rise from the 39,164 units recorded in February.
This brought overall sales during the first quarter of the year to 117,074units, marking a 6.8-percent growth compared with the 109,606 units sold in the same three-month period in 2024.
