UnionBank appoints Ana Maria Aboitiz-Delgado as president, CEO effective Jan 2025

Manila, Philippines — Aboitiz-led Union Bank of the Philippines has appointed Ana Maria Aboitiz-Delgado as its new president and CEO effective next year.

In a stock exchange filing, UnionBank announced that Delgado, a fifth generation heir of the Aboitiz family, would succeed Edwin R. Bautista by Jan. 1.

Delgado, who first joined the bank in 2003 as a management trainee, currently heads UnionBank’s institutional banking business, as well as customer experience and digital channels.
