Metro Pacific Health acquires Parañaque Doctors Hospital

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Pacific Health Corp. (MPH) of billionaire Manuel V. Pangilinan has acquired a majority stake in UHBI-Parañaque Doctors Hospital (PDH) further expanding its footprint in the National Capital Region.

MPH on Tuesday said PDH was its 10th hospital in Metro Manila.

“Paranaque City is a key market between Makati and Muntinlupa, which MPH has been keen to have a presence in,” MPH president Augie Palisoc Jr. said in a statement.

The 21-year-old PDH is a seven-story facility sitting on a 6,000-square-meter land in Parañaque. It started commercial operations on May 8, 2007.
