MANILA, Philippines — AC Industrials, the industrial technology arm of the Ayala Group, has partnered with Bosch Philippines in a bid to beef up the local automotive industry.
The deal with Bosch is meant to explore “potential business activities in various industries,” such as mobility solutions, manufacturing, energy and health care.
“We’re really excited to expand our synergies with Bosch. As we see the [electric vehicle (EV)] transformation happen in the country, we’re really excited to explore more ways to continue working with our partners, as well as sharing expertise and innovative practices,” says Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, co-CEO of AC Industrials and CEO of ACMobility.

The companies likewise seek to “explore new business opportunities for the mutual benefit of both parties and development of the Philippine market.”
ACMobility, the Ayala Group’s mobility arm, also partnered with Bosch in 2023 to incorporate integrated vehicle technology in after-sales operations through Bosch Car Service.
This 2025, both companies plan to open 20 new outlets in the Philippines, with a larger goal of up to 60 outlets in the next five years.
Sales of EVs in the Philippines revved up last year, reaching 10,000 units from 1,072 in 2022.
