Ayala subsidiary ties up with Bosch to offer car servicing

MANILA  -Ayala subsidiary AC Motors on Wednesday signed a partnership with Bosch, becoming the German engineering firm’s franchisor in the Philippines as it aims to open 60 service centers across the country in the next five years.

AC Motors CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala said that Ayala and Bosch have had a long history of collaboration, and found in each other the ideal partner to bring “casa” or brand-authorized service center-level facility and affordable, high-quality parts to Philippine motorists.

For his part, Bosch Philippines managing director Paulo Duarte highlighted the importance of making effective, smart and convenient automotive maintenance easily accessible.

“Accessibility to these services is paramount, especially in the Philippines, where the pace of transportation infrastructure and demand results from the rapid growth of the country’s economy,” said Duarte.
