MANILA, Philippines —Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. is transitioning to a new mobile application as it sets the final deadline for users to switch to the new Metrobank app on Feb. 13, 2024.

To switch, Metrobank said a user only needs to download the bank’s new app on Google Play Store, Apple Store or Huawei’s AppGallery and log in using exiting username and password. “No need to sign up,” it said.
In case a user forgets his password, he can easily change it. “Just tap ‘recover access’ on the login screen, choose ‘forgot my password’ and provide preferred email address or mobile number where verification code can be sent. Enter both the passcode and verification code, and create a new password,” the bank said.
