Metrobank clients urged to switch to new app by Nov. 21

Ty-led Metropolitan & Bank Trust Co. is reminding clients to switch to its new app by Nov. 21 this year ahead of the deactivation of the existing mobile platform.

In a statement on Friday, Metrobank said users of the new mobile app can avail of waived Instapay fees for transfers of P1,000 and below until the end of 2023 apart from other services and safety features.

These include Metrobank credit card activation, money transfers using the credit card as the source via PayNow and conversion of credit card limit to cash via Cash2Go.

Upcoming features include sending funds to key remittance centers nationwide via cash pick-up service and more secure transactions using the new Apply feature.
