Kia opens first EV charger-equipped Philippine dealership
MANILA -Kia Philippines opened a new dealership in Cavite, marking its fifth branch under the Ayala-led AC Motors and the first among its outlets to showcase a charging station for electric vehicles (EV).
The company said the dealership in Bacoor is the first to have a cutting-edge 22 kilowatt (KW) electric car charger that is compatible with CCS2 cables, one that can be used for the Kia EV6 sports utility vehicle.
“Boasting an expansive building area of 750 square meters (sqm) and a total lot area of 1,500 sqm, Kia Bacoor provides a modern and customer-centric environment that reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence,” the company said in a statement.
The Kia EV6 was launched in the Philippines earlier in March of this year.
Aside from the EV charging station, the company said that this newest dealership also has a display floor that can accommodate a maximum of eight Kia vehicles and is big enough to house three service bays.
