Converge upbeat on its enterprise segment

MANILA  -Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is upbeat with the prospects of its enterprise segment given the internet service provider’s continued expansion in more areas and launch of solutions catering to small, medium and large businesses.

In a statement on Tuesday, the listed company said it was seeing sustained momentum for its enterprise business, which saw revenues grow by 26 percent to P2.5 billion during the first half.

“We are pleased to see an upswing in our enterprise unit, Converge Business, and we’re bound to see more growth as we introduce new products and services that go beyond connectivity,” Converge chief operations officer Jesus Romero said.

Among its key enterprise offerings are fast-speed fiber connectivity product and automated human resource and payroll solution. It also provides a hotel management software, which includes direct booking system and room inventory monitoring. The cloud-based system is seen to support small hotels and resorts in their daily operations.

“Our expansion into key tourism destinations like Boracay and Palawan will also bolster opportunities to tap both small and large companies in these areas,” Romero added.

He previously said the company was looking at expanding in Occidental Mindoro, Mt. Province, Davao Oriental and Zamboanga City as well. “

We have the broadest fiber network in the country and this means that our network is already available in cities that are just planning to shift to digital or even cities that are just being planned,” Converge head of innovation and product management Leonardo Baniqued said.
