Fuel prices to be rolled back on Feb. 28
MANILA, Philippines — Pump prices of gasoline, diesel, and kerosene will be cut by P0.70 to P1.80 per liter starting Tuesday, Feb. 28.
In separate advisories on Monday, local oil firms announced the following price adjustments schedule:
Shell (6 a.m.)
Gasoline: -P0.70 per liter
Diesel: -P1.30 per liter
Kerosene: -P1.80 per liter

The rollback in fuel prices came after two consecutive price hikes in February.
According to the latest oil monitoring of the Department of Energy (DOE), the oil companies implemented a per liter increase of P0.90 for gasoline and P1.05 for diesel on Feb. 21.
Meanwhile, the price of kerosene went down by P0.25 per liter also on Feb. 21.
This, the DOE said, resulted in a year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P1.10 per liter and kerosene at ₱0.50 per liter.
Gasoline, meanwhile, has a net increase of P6.00 per liter.
