Ayala Land’s Nuvali Estate: Accelerating growth with new retail and lifestyle choices for a thriving community
Laguna’s largest fashion store, Uniqlo Roadside in Nuvali, Sta. Rosa opened this weekend to an enthusiastic throng of shoppers. Built in a minimalist, Brutalist architecture style, the 1,400 square meter shop makes a striking, new landmark along the Sta. Rosa-Tagaytay Road. The store engages in sustainability, a social goal that aims for living in an environment that respects nature, and provides economic possibilities and access to benefits to everyone. Uniqlo’s advocacy augurs well with the eco-city character of Nuvali.
As a roadside retail outlet—it is a one-stop shopping destination for residents in the neighboring areas and for local travelers going to or coming from Tagaytay and Batangas. A welcome addition to Nuvali’s outdoor amenities, the adjacent green park, built by ALI’s Nuvali estate in partnership with Uniqlo, invites Laguna residents to enjoy the soothing landscape, children’s playground, and art.
Uniqlo Roadside in Nuvali has also considered the needs of little children and the PWD. It put up wheel-chair-friendly entrances and a separate spacious fitting room for the disabled, replete with a large sofa. Children, accompanying their parents, can bide their time at the Kid’s Corner, where they can play or read books in the mini library.
“We take pride in having Uniqlo’s largest roadside store in Laguna in ALI’s largest and fastest thriving estate. Uniqlo has been a wardrobe staple and a well-loved brand here in the Philippines; and with the growing residential base in Nuvali and in nearby cities, their presence would definitely cater to the shopping demand and activities in the area.” shared Cris Zuluaga, Ayala Land Estates Senior Estate Development Head for Metro Manila and South Luzon Estates.
Aside from the new Uniqlo Roadside, the homegrown hotel chain, Seda Nuvali will open its second building, thus adding 240 more rooms. Then there are new retail outlets coming up such as the MerryMart Grocery, McDonald’s 700th store, the membership shopping Landers Superstore and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf stand-alone store.
