MDBI Construction Corporation’s One Ayala Avenue (OAA) BPO Towers 1 and 2 Projects won the High-Rise Structures Category in the 2022 Philippines Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards.
BPO Towers 1 and 2 are part of the 2.8-hectare OAA mixed-use development along Ayala Avenue corner EDSA in Makati City. It is comprised of two office towers with 22 and 29 floors, respectively. With over 85,000 square meters of gross leasable area, the project rises above a 5-level retail center and 5-level basement parking building – making it one of the prime office addresses in Metro Manila.
Marked by its key location with access to major thoroughfares and modes of transport, BPO Towers 1 and 2 complete OAA as a premier development together with its 390,000-square meter transportation hub, a modern lifestyle mall, retail and dining spaces, a 4-star Seda Hotel, and a high-grade office building.
OAA BPO Towers 1 and 2 stand with a total concrete volume of 77,211 cubic meters. Construction began in June 2017 with the laying of an 18,669-cubic meter concrete mat foundation. Concreting works for both towers were completed ahead of schedule in November 2020 and February 2021.
Hosted by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) Philippines Chapter and Philippine Constructors Association (PCA), the awards program honors projects that inspire excellence in concrete design, construction, innovation, and applications in the Philippines.
Ayala Triangle Gardens Tower 2, another MDBI project, won the same award last year.
