Oil price rollback to be implemented, firms say

MANILA, Philippines — An oil price rollback will be implemented this week, according to fuel companies on Monday.

In separate advisories, Shell, Cleanfuel, SeaOil, PetroGazz, Metro Oil, and Caltex said that their gasoline price will be trimmed by P0.40 per liter and their diesel cost by P3.10 per liter.

Firms offering kerosene will slash their prices by P2.10 per liter.

The price movement will be effective May 17 at 6 a.m., except for Caltex and Cleanfuel which will adjust their prices at 12:01 a.m. and 8:01 a.m., respectively.
