Pamela is a Registered Nurse from Sorsogon, Philippines and worked for 6 years in the Philippines before her aunt suggested for her to apply in nursing agencies that can help her work abroad through sponsorship. Pamela still misses her mom though as she is the youngest of seven children, one of the challenges she must live with. She is now happily married with a seven-year-old son and during her days off, she enjoys spending quality time with the family, relaxing, and watching cartoons on TV with her son or tuning in to her favorite Korean dramas.
Her biggest advice to other nurses? “Keep an open mind, expect separation anxiety, but know that you will be making a difference by doing what you need to provide for your family back home,” she said. And when asked if she would recommend White Glove to other nurses she simply said: “Yes. 150% to 250% yes!”
She also shared about her niece who just signed a contract with White Glove and is waiting for her visa to the US as well. Her nephew is also waiting to process his papers. Sheila M. RN
Sheila is another Filipino nurse who was introduced to White Glove by her nursing friend. She arrived in the US in 2011. Like most Filipinos, she pursued the Nursing profession because of her mother and eventually learned to love the career as it gives her the opportunity to take care of people, which she loves doing. In fact, she is so hardworking that she holds four different jobs and works six days a week. On her day off she enjoys relaxing and unwinding at home.

Hasmin S. RN

The case of Hasmin, a Filipino nurse, is one clear example, as she waited for six years before finally arriving in New York City.
