Inquirer hosts upcoming National Virtual Career Superfair
The Philippine Daily Inquirer, the country’s largest daily newspaper, together with JobMarket.PH and Prosple hosts the 2nd National Virtual Careers Super Fair happening on the 25th of October 2021 from 10 AM to 2 PM.
“Coming from the success of its launch on April 13 of this year, we’ve seen how this event helped address the challenge of graduating students in the middle of the pandemic. Aligned with our mission, together with The Philippine Daily Inquirer, we want to be able to help more students get the best start to their career ” Yohanne Esguerra, Country Manager of Prosple said.
Deciding on where and how to start a career after college is one of the biggest decisions a graduate will need to make in their life. This event helps them get a jumpstart from the application process to surviving and thriving in the industry that the graduate will choose.
Virtual Career Fairs Fairs for Students
The upcoming career fair isn’t limited to Q&A sessions and webinars. Students can maximize the virtual career fair experience by joining different activities prepared by employers, including but not limited to:
- Introductory presentations about the company
- Video presentations (e.g. virtual tour of office premises); and
- Speed interviews, ice-breaker games and other fun activities to engage participants
- With these activities, the National Virtual Careers Super Fair will connect fresh graduates to employers in almost the same way as in-person job fairs.
The National Virtual Career Super Fair II is an online event featuring some of the top employers in different industries recruiting young talent in the Philippines. This event aims to help students and fresh graduates get a job and help them in their quest from college to career with a series of career talks and virtual booths where companies like Amazon, Emerson, PwC, and Western Digital can engage live with students.
