ViCon: Showcase of forte, strength

/ 06:42 PM July 03, 2021

The two-day virtual event drew thousands of property seekers and investors to check out Vista Land and Golden MV’s brands.

Last week, we saw an amazing feat from the Villar Group as it successfully held ViCon, the Philippines’ first and largest virtual property expo. More than anything, it was really a showcase of its forte and strength, of what it can offer to homebuyers and investors, as one of the leading property developers in the country today.

The pandemic didn’t stop the Villar Group from holding something as grand as this. The ViCon was able to break digital grounds, highlighting the group’s complete real estate property offerings from high-end brands to affordable and low-cost offerings.

This two-day virtual event—headlined by no other than the man himself, real estate magnate and group chair Manuel B. Villar Jr.—drew thousands of property seekers and investors to check out Vista Land and Golden MV’s brands. They have Bria, Lumina, Lessandra, Camella, Crown Asia, Brittany, Camella Manors and Vista Residences. Golden Haven, the Philippine’s largest death care property developer, also took part in ViCon along with commercial space developer, Vistamalls Inc.

“Now is the time to own a house. Villar Group has lots of promotion these days. The pandemic did not stop us from building the best homes for our kababayans. We believe that it is the best time for the Villar Group to expand and to go further despite the pandemic. In fact, we leveled up our services, and we are launching more projects in the months to come,” Villar said at the opening of ViCon, as he enticed Filipinos here and abroad to start investing in their home today.

There was so much happening at ViCon. You’ve got discounts and promos being offered then virtual booths for each residential brand. You can even talk to agents real time. And of course, the ViCon’s powerhouse lineup of speakers offered opportunities for guests to know more about the latest news and trends in real estate.

Colliers Philippines associate director Joey Bondoc gave us a lowdown on why real estate remains one of the most attractive investment options we have amid these challenging times. David Leechiu, CEO of Leechiu Property Consultants, meanwhile acknowledged that the government’s continued rollout of infrastructure projects would not only improve connectivity but would also spell the difference in the years to come.

Pam Pastor, lifestyle and pop culture journalist and assistant editor for Inquirer Lifestyle, talked about the behavior and preferences of millennials—currently an emerging market for real estate. Interior designer Doris Dy also showed us how to affordably furnish a home and a condo.

Participants were also presented various financing options for their homes in a series of talks from The ViCon’s bank partners including AllBank, BDO, RCBC, and UBP.

The Villar Group is going all out this year, despite the challenges of the pandemic. If anything, this group has proven that it was not only able to adapt well to this changing, uncertain landscape, but that it also came out better, bigger and stronger.
