2020 marked a significant milestone for ADP’s Philippines office as it commemorated its 10th anniversary in December. The team celebrated its extraordinary journey with a virtual party and dedicated the event to their nearly 2,200 associates who have contributed to the unique culture and great success of ADP throughout the years.
“During this unprecedented health event, our priority is our associates’ health and safety, so we decided to bring the virtual celebration to the comforts of their homes. After all, this milestone is their success as much as it is ADP’s. It is the commitment, hard work, and passion that they bring to work every day that has shaped ADP’s Philippines presence,” said Joanne Topacio, Manager for Human Resources.
One of the highlights of the event was the Service Milestone Award given to the fourteen associates who have been with ADP’s Philippines office since it first opened its doors back in December 2010. Boots Ann Colabres, one of the awardees shared, “I believe my decade with ADP reflects how trustworthy this company is. Great employees stay when they know leadership has their back. In challenging times, like the global health event we are facing, our leadership was quick to look for ways to support associates. I am grateful [to ADP] for always making me feel valued and respected all these years.”
ADP’s Philippines office, an offshore location of a leading global provider of human capital management (HCM) solutions, has been focused on delivering service excellence and insightful expertise to its clients all over the world throughout the years. Its associates have built a foundation rooted in ADP’s core values: Service Excellence, Results-Driven, Inspiring Innovation, Insightful Expertise, Integrity is Everything, Each Person Counts, and Social Responsibility.
As a global corporate citizen, ADP is committed to creating a positive impact on the communities in which its associates live and work. Some of the initiatives undertaken by the Philippines team include donation programs for public schools, outreach and feeding programs, and contributions to the rehabilitation of Tacloban City after Typhoon Haiyan’s devastation in 2013. But even more remarkable is how ADP’s Philippines associates not just participate but continuously create their own initiatives such as donation drives, benefit concerts or bake sales where proceeds benefit a fellow associate, families or communities in need.
When asked about their outlook for the Philippines office, Margie Escueta Marketing & Communications Senior Manager said, “I believe this is the first of many decades for ADP in the Philippines. Our Filipino associates are inspired and driven to serve our clients, support our communities, and help one another to create a better world of work. I am excited about all the great achievements we foresee in the future.”
