Cebuana From Home: Addressing the challenges posed by the new normal

The COVID-19 pandemic has truly changed the lives of Filipinos, forcing them to adapt to the so-called “New Normal”. During this period, access to essential services was limited making financial services even more crucial for the larger part of the population.

While Cebuana Lhuillier has always made its array of financial products and services accessible to Filipinos through its more than 2,500 branches nationwide, they were met with the challenge of providing the same access to Filipinos at the height of the pandemic.


Cebuana Lhuillier’s answer? Cebuana From Home (CFH) — a platform that brings the financial service capabilities of 2,500 branches straight to the client’s doorstep.

By logging on to, clients get a full 360 degree access to Cebuana Lhuillier’s products and services, from pawning, remittance, microinsurance, bills payment and now, delivery! Soon, even more access points such as through a dedicated mobile application, through Facebook messenger, SMS and even calls will be made available to the public.

Pawn from Home: Quick cash even at the comfort of your home!

Cebuana Lhuillier brought its signature pawning service to the Cebuana From Home platform in August of 2020. This move ensured even further a safe and secure transaction for clients while fulfilling their needs, the Pawn-from-Home service allows clients to pawn their jewelry items online. Instead of having to troop to a Cebuana Lhuillier branch to pawn, a dedicated appraiser will come to their location and appraise the item, negotiate the value, and release the loan.

Clients only need to accomplish the application form on the website; their application will then be reviewed and endorsed to the nearest Cebuana Lhuillier branch and appraiser in their area who can fulfill the transaction.

In September of 2020, the pawn renewal service has also been integrated into the platform allowing Ka-Cebuanas to pay for the interest fee at the comforts of their home. Today, the service has also allowed redemption of pawned items through the platform allowing for easier transactions and safer ones too.

Remit from Home: Sending money has never been this easy!

Introduced in April of this year, Cebuana From Home’s remit-from-home service lets clients send money through the platform too! Instead, their transaction is done online and processed online with the help of Cebuana Lhuillier agents.

The CFH Cash Delivery service will also be rolled out this month, ensuring greater convenience and safety for Ka-Cebuanas since receivers of cash transfers can opt to have the cash delivered straight to their doorstep.

Insurance and Bills Payment: Get protected and pay your bills from home!

In June and July of 2020, the CFH website was also fitted with the capability to purchase Cebuana Lhuillier Insurance Brokers (CLIB)’s roster of comprehensive and affordable insurance packages, these include Personal Accident insurance, Medical Expenses insurance and even Doctor’s Consultation insurance. On the other hand, its Bills Payment service offers hassle-free payments to more than 10 billers nationwide.

Cebuana Lhuillier Express Delivery Service: Ensuring greater safety for clients minus the hassle!

Adding to the already growing roster of services within the Cebuana From Home ecosystem, the company is also rolling out the Cebuana Lhuillier Express Delivery Service, at select pilot areas in the country. This will allow complete fulfillment of transactions from Cebuana From Home.

The delivery service is exclusive to Cebuana From Home and will introduce Cebuana Lhuillier riders into the CFH ecosystem ensuring the same safe and secure brand of service Cebuana Lhuillier is known for.

Purchases from Cebuana Lhuillier Jewelry are also delivered at clients’ doorsteps courtesy of our Cebuana Lhuillier Riders, aside from opting to pick up the items they bought at Cebuana Lhuillier branches; CL Riders are also available to fulfill the deliveries at clients’ homes.
