BCDA, Widus sign deal for P12-B resort in New Clark City

CLARK FREEPORT—-The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the Widus Group on Friday, Oct. 25, signed a lease agreement for a P12-billion luxury resort at the New Clark City (NCC) in Capas, Tarlac.

The agreement was signed by BCDA president and chief executive officer Vivencio Dizon and Widus president and CEO Dae Sik Han at the Clark Marriott here.

The resort will be built on a 450-hectare land inside the 9,500-ha NCC. Widus is the developer of the Widus Hotel & Casino and Clark Marriot Hotel here.

Dae said the next project is Hann Lux, which will feature the global brands Banyan Tree Hotel, Angsana Hotel, Westin and Luxury Collection by Marriott.
