The Villar group-led Vista Land & Landscapes—one of the leading integrated property developers in the Philippines—is indeed redefining the landscape with its aggressive thrust to provide “a life made beautiful” as evident in the kind of shopping malls, retail and dining outlets as well as residential projects that it has been rolling out in recent years.

One need only to look at the Evia Lifestyle Center, which serves as urban Alabang’s premier retail, entertainment and dining hub. Tagged as the most beautiful and Instagrammable mall by its patrons, the South’s premier lifestyle destination is a perfect showcase of how the Vista Land Group is amplifying that malling experience in its own commercial areas.

Beyond the usual formats of having boxed clusters of stores meant to provide day to day necessities and a few provisions for leisure and entertainment, Vista Land clearly raises the bar.

The Evia Lifestyle Center is a whimsical upscale 5-ha commercial area designed to mirror a quaint and beautiful Italian village that offers a soothing ambience—but still replete with all the modern necessities for today’s urbanites. It has carefully curated its malls’ content, seamlessly weaving together its homegrown stores (All Day Supermarket, AllHome, Bake My Day, Coffee Project, and Market Liberty) with local and international brands under one roof.

In June this year, during the formal opening of the Vista Group’s retail businesses within the North wing of the Evia Lifestyle Center, Vista land chairman Manuel B. Villar Jr. shared that he felt proud to be opening their homegrown brands in what he called as “the most beautiful mall in the Philippines today.”

“The malls we have are ahead of their time but we feel that this is what the Filipinos deserve… We shouldn’t have to go out of the country to shop in the beautiful malls abroad. This is why we came up with our retail group about five to six years ago. We want to build more beautiful malls while we continue to challenge ourselves to give you better retail outlets,” Villar had said.

Even the iMAX at Evia Lifestyle Center is claimed by Villar to be most advanced iMAX in the Philippines.
