For the second year in a row, online property portal Lamudi Philippines has partnered with the Property Section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer to co-present The Outlook 2019, which will fete the real estate industry’s frontrunners and trailblazers for their commitment to innovation and excellence as showcased in their respective projects.

A partnership agreement was officially signed last June 3 at the Inquirer office, with Lamudi represented by its CEO Bhavna Suresh while Inquirer had on board its chief operating officer Atty. Rudyard S. Arbolado and Property section editor Theresa Samaniego.

“The Outlook 2018 was a success in great part due to Lamudi’s good partnership with Philippine Daily Inquirer Property, which is why we value this opportunity to continue working with them for The Outlook 2019,” said Lamudi CEO Bhavna Suresh.

“The overwhelming success of the event we had in 2018 raised the bar for us this 2019, which is only fitting because we have always been committed to surpassing ourselves each year. Similarly, the industry remains on an upward growth trajectory so we are looking forward to awarding more groundbreaking work,” Suresh further said.

Samaniego meanwhile said they are looking forward to another year of co-presenting The Outlook, which will showcase some of the leading and most premium real estate projects to date.

“The Philippine real estate industry continues to be a key growth driver of our economy. Property developers today have become more aggressive and innovative in their offerings, while taking on a much bigger role in the country’s nation building efforts by creating communities that continue to uplift the lives of the people. The landscape has become more exciting than ever as we see the players delivering projects that are truly at par with global standards,” Samaniego said.

“Also commendable is the active stance being taken even by the boutique and provincial developers because through them, even potential homebuyers outside Metro Manila get the chance to own a home that is of quality and which is a truly good investment,” she added.

Recognizing industry’s bestAs with its previous run over the past two years, The Outlook will showcase the top industry projects and developers in the Philippines as selected by an esteemed panel of judges, and based on a survey to be conducted on 10,000 active property seekers on the Lamudi platform.

At stake are 19 awards across four categories. Categories for Luzon include: Best Affordable Condo of the Year; Best Premium Condo of the Year; Best Luxe Condo of the Year; Best Affordable House of the Year; Best Premium House of the Year; and Best Mixed-Use Development of the Year. Categories for Visayas and Mindanao are Best Affordable Condo of the Year; Best Premium Condo of the Year; Best House of the Year; and Best Mixed-Use Development of the Year.

Special Awards meanwhile include Best Green Project of the Year; Best Innovation Project of the Year; Best Co-Living Space; Best Co-Working Space; and Personality of the Year. The Grand Awards will comprise of Best Developer of the Year – Luzon; Best Developer of the Year – Visayas and Mindanao; Best Boutique Developer of the Year – Luzon; and Best Boutique Developer of the Year – Visayas and Mindanao.

The Outlook 2019: Philippine Buyers’ Choice Property Awards gala, as co-presented by Philippine Daily Inquirer Property, will be held at Makati Shangri-la on November 14, 2019.
