Fine Watches, cocktails and libation at Palacio de Memoria
MANILA, Philippines – Vintage Grail, Manila’s specialized watch retailer, presents a curated collection of distinct timepieces at the Palacio de Memoria, the restored pre-war mansion on Roxas Boulevard from July 17 to the 21. The five-day event will highlight passions and pursuits for the Filipino connoisseur, with whisky and wine flight tastings to compliment the search for the ultimate time piece, hence “grail” for the growing number of watch enthusiasts.
“We are very happy to work with Vintage Grail to present a selection of horology to very discerning collectors at the Palacio. The home, and its rooms provide the perfect ambiance for this five-day event. What better place to imbibe such works of wearable art and craft, while enjoying whisky and wine from our partners as well,” note Camille Lhuillier, Marketing Manager.
Beginning July 17 through the 21st, The Palacio will be home to one of the most unique timepieces available in the country. The mid-week schedule includes by invitation cocktails on July 17th. Chivas presents a whisky flight experience on Friday, July 19th and Vino Enoteca will host a selection of wines for Saturday, July 20th. Poblacion’s local neighborhood cocktail bar, Run Rabbit Run, makes the Palacio their home with craft drinks and hors d’oeuvres.
“The old world setting and the grandness of the mansion is the ideal venue for events like these. Complementing our auctions, the watches presented are coveted items that one should not miss – even to simply hold them are, like our lots, present a true passage of time,” says Angelique Lhuillier.
