The three sisters who own Marquis—Lorraine Lim-Aguila, Laura Lim-Rodrigo and Lorlyn Lim-Almazora—wanted to create inspiring spaces for everyone’s inspiring moments of celebration. Marquis’ brand ideation, though, took its cue from their grandfather’s passionate appreciation of the legend of a thousand paper cranes.
In translating Marquis’ inspiration and vision into a grand venue, the elegance and optimism symbolic of the paper cranes unfold in every facet of the design—from the carpet, wall and door appointments, all the way up to the 7-meter high ceiling adorned with luxurious chandelier installation representing the flight of a thousand cranes. A guest stepping into Marquis can relate to the brand’s design inspiration, evoking a distinct sense of unique luxury delighting those with discriminating taste.
Marquis allocated over 1,200 sqm to encompass its pillar-less grand ballroom.
The Marquis Grand Ballroom can be divided into three smaller ballrooms and as many as seven salons with sound-insulated walls to keep events intimate. The spaces can accommodate up to 1,000 guests or an intimate setup of 20 guests.
The varied function spaces were aptly named after types of cranes with the following extent of measurements— Marquis Grand Ballroom (1290.37 sqm); Sarus Ballroom A (302.44 sqm); Sarus Ballroom B (675.64 sqm); Sarus Ballroom C (266.49 sqm); Red Crown (68.22 sqm); Black Crown (66.17 sqm); Sand Hill (95.51 sqm); Grey Crown (70.15 sqm); Demoiselle (147.68 sqm); Wattle (117.90 sqm).
VIP Rooms and a Board Room are available as lounge, dressing room, meeting space or private holding area.
