TPB preparing launch of new marketing tack
The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) is preparing for the launch of a domestic tourism marketing program that will highlight community development as the centerpiece of its promotional activities.
“The launch will be held in Bohol, where domestic tourists are bound to experience the fruits of their own contribution to community development in the form of various products from livelihood enterprises, well-preserved ecosystem and clean environment, new physical and social infrastructure, strongly institutionalized cultural and moral values and traditions, and the best tourism practices resulting from multisectoral cooperation deep down in the grassroots,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Cesar Montano.
The program will also focus its promotional activities on the micro, small and medium tourism enterprises,” Montano added.
