Grohe opens showroom in Desigño Atelier at Wilcon IT Hub in Makati
When building any living space, the bathroom and kitchen are primary areas where many design elements are carefully planned. Homeowners and builders shop around for the perfect fixtures that match the daily needs of the family.
Grohe, a global premium brand for bathrooms and kitchens, has made it more convenient for shoppers to envision their future space with the recent opening of another state-of-the-art showroom in Desigño Atelier at Wilcon IT Hub in Makati City.
Five Aqua Zones
The new impressive showroom on the fifth floor has several notable zones within the Grohe Spa area. Walking through, visitors will be able to feel and test the products while also learning about the brand because of the information presented on the walls. The Grohe Spa is divided into five Aqua Zones—Contemplation Zone, Preparation Zone, Rejuvenation Zone, Relaxation Zone and Recreation Zone. These zones represent the different technologies that Grohe has to offer for the different parts of a home spa. Grohe works to ensure that products don’t just look good but feel good, too. Staying true to this philosophy, their product technologies capture harmony in luxury, innovation and artistry.
At the Grohe’s launch, the Grohe Rainshower SmartControl-3D Showering was presented to the guests. The device with its innovative push-button technology lets the user personalize their shower time. The mechanism for the shower is pretty straightforward where a triple button design serves as the controls. A spray jet is also incorporated with the ability to blend several display patterns. Equipped with Grohe TurboStat tech, the shower allows the user to adjust to the preferred water temperature. The top of the control unit also serves as a shelf for shampoos, shower gel and other body care products that can be deposited on the XL EasyReach shower tray.
The recent launch started with a ceremonial ribbon cutting that was led by Alpha Ang, general manager of Lixil Water Technology; Audrey Yeo, Grohe’s VP for marketing in Asia; Michael Hasper, Chargé d’Affaires and deputy head of mission, German Embassy in Manila; and William Belo, chair of Wilcon Depot. They were accompanied by Rosemarie Ong, SEVP-COO of Wilcon Depot; Careen Belo, executive financial audit manager of Wilcon Depot; and Alen Alban, country manager of Lixil Water Technology.
Hosted by Will Devaughn and Julz Savard, guests were treated to an exceptional experience through the performance of the Manila String Machine. They are performing simultaneously with the Philippine Ballet Theater and also in sync with a live water spectacle using Grohe water technology.
Another highlight of the event was the live painting done by Jackie Manzano, inspired by Grohe’s tagline, Pure Freude An Wasser, which directly translates to pure joy of water. The night was also graced by the presence of no less than the country’s pride, Lea Salonga. She delivered songs capturing the hearts of the crowd with her world-class talent and rightfully embodying the international excellence that Grohe is known for. Chef Jessie Sincioco provided the ultra-satisfying sumptuous food.
