Eggersmann and La Cornue open their doors to the public

/ 12:15 AM May 21, 2016

Experts in tailor-made solutions to satisfy each personal aesthetic, Eggersmann and La Cornue have brought luxury to various high-class establishments since 1908. With contrivances made especially for the French kitchen, Eggersmann and La Cornue manufacture quality hardware fittings straight from the countries of Europe. Now, together with Bosch and KFF, they took the next step to promote ingenuity and show that such handcrafted items are made only for a few of the most refined households.

Recently, Eggersmann and La Cornue opened their doors to the public with a lavish roof-deck event at Skye W Highstreet in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). A special performance by Asia’s Harp Angel, singer-songwriter Noelle Cassandra, entertained the guests with her talent and soothing voice.

Truly momentous feat

Respective speakers from participating companies attended to share what makes their brand an established name in the field of bespoke craftsmanship. When the guests had their fill, prominent names from each participating company—Eggersmann, La Cornue, Bosch and KFF—presented themselves onstage for a talk-show segment that charming Angel Jacob hosted. This was a truly momentous feat from companies that provide their customers with products that are nothing less than perfect.

FEATURED STORIES

Specific items from their expanding catalogues could be seen personally in their showroom on the second floor of the same building in BGC, where invited guests gathered to witness a preview of the companies’ remarkable handcraftsmanship. Aforementioned items include more recent releases such as the Unique line by Eggersmann, and the La Château series of cookers, which is La Cornue’s reigning crown jewel.

An item that truly describes Eggersmann’s manufactured equipment, Unique says it all with its homogeneity. The use of only one particular identical material such as granite, limestone, quartzite or stainless steel for its relevant surfaces promotes its stylish minimalist qualities that still manage to maintain an exceptional timelessness. It is intricately detailed with miter joints applied on the front and side panels. The island blocks available in the showroom are the Nero Assoluto and Silver Touch, a pair which holds a prominent light and dark contrast from each other.

The Nero Assoluto island blocks stand proud as the showroom’s majestic centerpiece. It is made from polished Nero Assoluto black granite, and fully equipped with The Wall system to support carcass components, lights and accessories. Behind the counters is an array of shelves, and cupboards with doors made from pristine glacier white Corian, a sleek set for contemporary homes.  At the very left, calling for befitting scrutiny, sits the Silver Touch, counters embellished in a glistening stainless-steel finish, furnished with pocket sliding bifold doors in rough-cut basswood veneer.

Available in the showroom for viewing, however, are its brighter counterparts in burgundy decked with gold trims, and the classic pure white. The La Château 150 cookers are fully equipped with two standard vaulted ovens—one gas, one electric—and offer 11 configurations to combine exquisite cooking performance and glamour, preserving the perfect balance of symmetry, design and function. Atop each cooker stands the signature Hotte Château hood. This trapezoid, wall-mounted hood is installed as a separate item, and can be customized by color and trim to match any specified cooker within the Château range.
