In his talk during the tech startup conference Slingshot MNL 2015, Richard Dasher, Ph.D. said that universities should be able to facilitate opportunities to link students to potential investors in order to turn their ideas into full-fledged businesses.

“Universities must nurture the youth’s passion in changing the world,” Dasher told an audience of about 1,000 people.
As a professor, Dasher emphasized the role of the university in developing students into future startup founders and entrepreneurs.
