BIZ BUZZ: UP gets more gifts
Blessings continue to pour in for the University of the Philippines (UP), and just in time for Christmas.
Indeed, aside from the UP Fighting Maroons winning the UAAP Season 87 Men’s Basketball Championship, the state university also won a P500,000 donation to its scholarship fund after winning The Nissin CUPetition.

Looks like Iskos and Iskas love their instant noodles as the UP Fighting Maroons got the most votes, tallied from the sales of Nissin Cup Noodles’ limited edition UAAP packs.
UP got 36 percent of the votes. Ateneo Blue Eagles was a far second at just 18 percent of the total, followed by DLSU Green Archers (13 percent).
Nissin is distributed in the Philippines by Universal Robina Corp. of the Gokongwei Group, of course one of the biggest and most consistent supporters of the UP Fighting Maroons. —Tina Arceo-Dumlao

According to the program, these firms achieved an average employee engagement score of 78 percent, reflecting their “unwavering commitment to fostering workplaces where employees can thrive.”
The metrics also considered the employers’ capacity to honor commitments made to staff and effectively communicate their vision for their respective companies.
