Anya a sweet escape from Metro’s frenzied life

ANYA is the first fully serviced private residential community.

The say “nature heals.”

When under much duress and anxiety, a whiff of fresh air, a good dose of early morning sunlight and the sight of trees and greenery are said to somehow ease that tension. And apparently, it is not without reason.

Inquirer Science and Health columnist Dr. Rafael Castillo previously wrote that “the focused self-absorption and appreciation of nature are believed to produce the health-producing effect likely brought about by the secretion of feel-good hormones.”

“One does not need elaborate clinical trials to be convinced that reconnecting with nature can be one of the healthy practices one can do. It’s a powerful antidote to a frenzied kind of lifestyle,” Dr. Castillo said, noting that one can readily find in the Philippines places that can provide healing restoration of one’s health, including Tagaytay.

ASIAN tropical architecture and first-class amenities provide a pampered and worry-free living experience.

And the Anya Resort and Residences, located in a private, serene and secluded portion of Tagaytay, strives to offer just that: a tropical garden where one can truly relax, rejuvenate and take a break from a stressful city lifestyle.

Anya, which is being developed by Roxaco Land Corp. within a 5.7-hectare property, will feature a private and exclusive residential enclave consisting of only 48 open lots, to be integrated with a boutique luxury resort.

“Since the property promotes peace and quiet, we are looking at providing a venue where buyers can relax, unwind, rejuvenate, while at the same time, convenient (to reach—where one can escape from) the stressful lifestyle that all of us experience every day,” said Santiago R. Elizalde, senior vice president for Roxaco Land.

THE HOME designs by architect Emmanuel Miñana ensure a harmonious environment and unified theme for the community.

“To add a step further to that, we envision a venue for healthy living, a health and wellness community, so people are more conscious of what they do, what they eat and the kind of environment they live in,” Elizalde said in a recent interview with Inquirer Property.

Premium investment

Elizalde stressed that Anya is a “premium investment” as it offers a fully serviced private residential community with the provision of concierge services to homeowners.

A concierge will be stationed at the Residents Pavilion, where residents can avail of services including dinner and golf game reservations, home spa services, in-villa dining and chef services, personal grocer/shopper, landscape maintenance, household maintenance and rental management.

THIS fenceless community features generous setbacks, wide planting strips and meandering walkways.

“A concierge will be at the beck and call of the residents. So any sort of reservation they may want to make to the local restaurants … or they want to schedule a tour of the volcano or the market, it could be coordinated by this concierge,” Elizalde explained.

“We’ve come to realize that when people go out of town and they have a second home, they just want to sit back, relax and not have to worry about too many things and precisely, that’s where the whole rejuvenation and stress-free living concept comes in. We have to provide services that will sort of address that requirement,” he further said.

Boutique resort

ANYA Resort and Residences is a premier boutique development in Tagaytay City.

Amenities also for residents include children’s playground, linear park with exercise stations and meditation nooks, jogging paths. But most of all, the Anya Resort and Residences, as its name says, will also host a resort, whose services can be extended to the residents as well.

Elizalde assured potential residential buyers that the boutique resort, which will be managed by top hotel operator Fuego Hotels, will have only a maximum of 30 rooms and as such, will not be a mass-based resort where tourist buses could just come in.

“It will be open to the public. But insofar as access is concerned, there will be separate access for the residents and another for the resort guests,” he said.

So far, Roxaco Land has managed to sell close to 60 percent of the lots and is now preparing to break ground for the residents’ pavilion later this month, according to Elizalde, adding that all land developments for the residential area are set to be completed within the first quarter of 2012.

ELIZALDE

Anya Resort and Residences offers 48 open lots with sizes ranging from 400 to 450 square meters. Potential buyers can select from three home designs by architect Emmanuel Miñana to ensure a “harmonious environment and unified theme for the community.”

These designs included the Family Pavilion, with a large hall on the second floor; the Resort Residence, which features a three-bedroom enclave that is suitable for most families; and the Private Villa, a two-structure concept suitable for younger lot owners.

Finally, when asked what makes Anya a cut above the rest Elizalde said, “Just where (Anya Resort and Residences) is located lends itself to a healthy living. You have fresh produce, fresh air, outdoor lifestyle—so all of that combined plus the facilities the residents would be able to enjoy, which are part of the resort, would promote a healthy lifestyle.”

“So if you take all of those elements and put them all together, I think in the end, that’s what makes Anya special,” Elizalde concluded.
