It is not just a high-rise condominium, but a community of residences in the sky as well.

The second to be launched from Andrea North Towers by the developer Philippine Realty and Holdings Corp. (PhilRealty), Sky Villas is a vertical residential development that would make the owner feel like living in a real house. It is located along the neighborhood of One Balete Drive in New Manila, Quezon City.

“PhilRealty gave me a challenge to design a dream home in the sky,” said architect Roger Villarosa of R. Villarosa Architects, designer of Sky Villas.

Luxury of space

Sky Villas will be offering 112 premium cuts in the 33-story upscale structure, with each unit having a minimum size of about 205 square meters. There will be only four units per floor.

The size of the villas, according to Villarosa, offers an unparalleled luxury of space for residents to live comfortably, especially those with growing families. Each unit has a 3.1 floor-to-ceiling height.

Glass and steel balconies that can be accessed through each room—the living room, master and second bedroom—are overlooking the view of Andrea North. The bedrooms each come with full-sized Canadian cabinets, deluxe bathrooms with frameless glass shower enclosures, and premier fixtures from Grohe and Kohler.

As for the kitchen areas, they are already furnished with fully fitted, ceiling height cabinetry and SMEG appliances. There are also a separate service area and maid’s room with bathroom.

“When you are in Sky Villas, you almost feel like you’re not in Manila. That, for me, is the kind of artistic input I would like to leave on the project,” he said.

As a part of One Balete community of the two-hectare Andrea North property, Sky Villas’ residents will also be enjoying amenities such as the fitness gym, a business lounge and library, a meeting room and a swimming pool.

“I did not put anything whimsical in the place,” Villarosa said. “Everything is utilitarian and of value.”

Senior-assisted living

Aside from the luxury, Sky Villas boasts of its senior-assisted living feature that makes it possible for active seniors to have their own living space.

Jose Ramon Olives, PhilRealty vice president for marketing, said: “[Our] point is they are still active and they still have a life. We see the opportunity that they would live here, and their children will live in the complex as well.”

He also explained the concept of division of the tower into two—the upper and lower houses.

‘Best of both worlds’

“The lower house is particularly made for senior residents to be able to cater their needs, while the upper part is for the “hipster”-type apartments,” he said.

As for offering urban sophistication, PhilRealty executive vice president Nico Lanuza said Sky Villas has a genuine definition for showing the “best of both worlds.”

“The warmth and comfort of your own suburban home and the convenience of condominium living [makes] every corner of this development a masterpiece to behold,” he said.
