Oil firms up diesel price by P0.35/liter

MANILA, Philippines – Oil firms increased the price of diesel effective Tuesday, according to separate advisories.

Because of price movement in the international oil market, Shell Philippines, Petron Corporation, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, and Total, increased the price of diesel by P0.35 per liter.

Shell Philippines and Petron Corp. will also raise their price for kerosene by 20 centavos per liter.

The incease, however, will not affect Cebu and Bohol for Shell and Petron while it won’t affect Cebu for Phoenix Petroleum Philippines.

Meanwhile, the Department of Energy, in its latest oil monitor, said prices of gasoline and its products will remain the same.
