Citi toasts to progress of clients and partners

/ 10:21 PM July 27, 2013

Citi Philippines recently feted clients and business partners in a “Toast to Progress.” The event celebrated Citi’s milestone achievements in the Philippines, in the Asean and across the globe.

It was the perfect occasion to welcome Batara Sianturi, Citi’s new country officer, who was introduced by Citi’s Head for Asean Michael Zink.  Prior to this assignment, Sianturi served as country officer for Citi in Hungary, and Cluster Head for Hungary and 12 other countries in the Balkan & Baltic Regions in Central Eastern Europe.

Zink highlighted the Philippines as an important market for Citi, having been here since 1902.

Addressing the guests, Sianturi cites the positive economic momentum that the country is enjoying presently.

Celebrating these milestones through music, Citi’s long-time community partners enthralled the guests with heartwarming performances from their respective chorale groups: the Gawad Kalinga Tatalon Performing Arts, Childhope Street Children Choir and Virlanie Choir.
